Description
The Elastic gaiters have a robust structure consisting of an extremely light but resistant TPU outer shell to protect against impacts and reinforced with D3O shock-absorbing molecules* in the tendon area for ultimate protection. The tendon area of the gaiters is characterised by intelligent ventilation holes to prevent legs and tendons from overheating. As the neoprene lining is also perforated, these gaiters are incredibly breathable and provide excellent cushioning for the skin. The gaiters also have a higher cut than conventional gaiters to allow total freedom of movement of the fetlock joint when the horse is jumping. Also considered are optimum freedom and comfort for the grip leg, allowing horses to flex the tarsal joint without interference. The gaiters are open at the front and we have a new double elasticated insert on the flaps which we have developed to suit riders looking for a gaiter that offers ultimate protection in a traditional design. The elasticated fastening makes it very easy to put the gaiters on and adjust the size. The Elastic gaiters are machine washable at 30° C (no tumble dryer) and look as good as new when cleaned with our gaiter cleaner.

*D3O shock-absorbing molecules are a lightweight, intelligent material that solidifies under external impact and disperses the impact energy before returning to its former pliable form. Laboratory tests have shown that the gaiters absorb external impact 50% better than any other gaiter currently on the market. Even an impact so violent that it could break a human bone can be cushioned.
